Approximately 50 billion burgers are eaten by Americans every year. If you live in the Triad, then there are some exceptional places to find an amazing burger. CHARBAR NO. 7
No one knows how CharBar No. 7 got its name, especially since there are only six locations. Although most of them are in Charlotte, Greensboro is fortunate to have one. There are a variety of burgers to choose from like the #7 (a burger with cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, and their special sauce), the Charleston (with pimento cheese), and a vegetarian black bean burger. In addition to burgers, they have sandwiches, steaks, salads, and a variety of delicious appetizers. CharBar No. 7 is open for easy takeout.
Village Tavern is open for convenient curbside pick up; delivery is also offered through Door Dash and ChowNow. The Tavern Burger has the basic lettuce, tomato, cheese, and onion with their secret sauce. If you’re a bacon lover, order the bacon jam burger, which also has applewood smoked bacon. They also have a Beyond Burger for vegetarians and any burgers can be ordered bunless.
Other menu offerings include pizza, salads, meatloaf, and even spaghetti squash. There’s something for everyone at Village Tavern!
There’s a completely different vibe at Burger Warfare. The decor and menu item names all reflect a military theme, but the food isn’t anything like an MRE. Mushroom lovers should try the Peacekeeper while those who enjoy spicy foods may want to try the Talon. The Thermonuclear Sauce sounds like a force to be reckoned with. If you’re not in the mood for beef, try the chicken entrées or the Beyond Meat burger. All burgers come with your choice of fries, tater tots, or coleslaw.
The burgers may be the stars of the show, but their costars are the milkshakes. You can customize your own or try a gourmet shake like the Captain Terrain. It comes with chocolate ice cream mixed with graham cracker crumbs, Heath bar, and caramel topped with pretzel and a toasted marshmallow. Curbside pickup is available.
