Three Greensboro Parks to Enjoy this Spring

There are green spaces all around our apartments in Greensboro. Legacy at Twin Oaks has all the amenities you need and is in the vicinity of some of the best Greensboro parks. Grab some of the barbecue in town and enjoy your afternoon outdoors this spring.

Bog Garden at Benjamin Park

With gorgeous natural areas and a walking trail, the Bog Garden at Benjamin Park offers a natural oasis from bustling city life. Dense foliage and rushing water offer a cool outdoor area ripe for exploring. Be prepared, though: while the man-made falls are absolutely beautiful, there are no restroom facilities, and the spot can be rented out, so check availability before you go.

Lake Brandt

Lake Brandt is tucked away near Greensboro and offers everything you’d expect from a park beside a lake and more. This park is a municipal reservoir that offers water sports and fishing, along with walking trails and picnic areas. You can even rent a boat or paddleboard to get out on the water. Most people fish for crappie, bass, or catfish, so get your fishing license and your gear ready. Or you could simply enjoy a walk along the water on one of Lake Brandt’s many walking trails.

LeBauer Park

LeBauer Park is nestled right in the heart of town and offers a different sort of experience. With art installations, playgrounds, and even cafés, LeBauer Park has something that everyone can enjoy. Enjoy a walk through the aerial art exhibits or spend some time in Peacehaven Sensory Space. There’s even a dog park at LeBauer, so your furry best friend can hang out with you, too.

Greensboro parks are more than just a small handful of green spaces, and they are just waiting for you to explore every one of them. Contact us when you’re ready to make your apartment in Greensboro a reality.
